Common Ground is where we come together each Sunday for worship according to our Unitarian Universalist beliefs. Here, we gather in covenant with one another, sing joyful songs, and are educated through readings and a presentation (sermon, homily, workshop, poetry readings, et cetera). Since we are a lay-led congregation, Common Ground is led by a lay-worship leader each Sunday. We have different speakers each week – some of which are Unitarian Universalist clergy or seminarians. We also may have clergy of other faith groups come and speak to us on a particular topic. Services are different from week to week but some of the elements remain the same.

Common Ground begins at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday and usually concludes by 11:30 a.m.

Attire: You will find some members dress up on Sunday and others dress down. We ask that you dress in a way that you are comfortable in public – as long as you are fully clothed!
