circle dinner

Attending a Circle Dinner is the pathway to more than just a delicious potluck meal! Nothing – not a conversation, not a handshake or even a hug – establishes friendship so forcefully as eating together.

EVERYONE, especially those new to Pathways, is invited and encouraged to attend a dinner.

Sign up to attend dinners or to host dinners. Our Circle Dinner sign-up sheets are in the church lobby. The Circle Dinner Coordinator (currently Kimela Ledbetter) will randomly assign guests to the hosts. This ensures that guests are shuffled so that everyone dines with different people each month. If you signed up, but can’t attend, please cross your name off the list by the Sunday prior to the Saturday dinner. If you have already been assigned to a dinner, and you can’t attend, please contact the host ASAP, by phone, not email. If at all possible, please do not cancel the day of the dinner for obvious reasons.

Hosts select the dinner theme and time. They send out emails at the latest by Tuesday – 4 days prior to the Saturday dinner – to their guests with theme, details and a list of foods to bring. Guests respond to host emails ASAP. If you signed up for Circle Dinners and haven’t received an email from a host by Tuesday evening, contact the Circle Dinner Coordinator.

You don’t have to host to attend, but remember no home is too small to gather in… you can always find a way to do things. Don’t let anything stop you from participating. We want everyone to be part of these awesome dining events.

If you want to volunteer, please email office@pathwaysuu.org. (subject line: Circle Dinners)
