Harried Reasoners is a group of thinkers at Pathways who are constantly searching for answers to questions of humanity, community and service. The group discusses religion, current events and books, and also participates in community service. Harried Reasoners meets on a bi-weekly basis after Common Ground worship service from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.
In the last few months, the Harried Reasoners first read Hillbilly Elegy (J. D. Vance), then read The Other Wes Moore (Wes Moore). The plan is to complete the discussion of the second book in this two-book series on Sunday, followed by a discussion of the similarities and differences in the two books on March 19th. The Harried Reasoners have been known to deviate from a previously announced plan. You are invited to come see for yourself how it goes, and while there, participate.
The Harried Reasoners, along with all Pathways Common Readers, will begin the discussion of The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore. This book was published several years ago so it can be bought in paper back, from used book sources and probably available from your public library. Additionally, there will be several copies to be lent out on Sunday. We hope that as many as possible will have the time to read it so that much of our discussion will be based on new learnings.
